How to make pink cupcakes with yellow cake mix?
I want to make pink cupcakes but I dont really have the time to make them from scratch and the only thing I have on hand is yellow cake mix. If I add a little red food coloring will it turn out pink?
I got pink, the cake mix ended up a very pale yellow so, thanks anyways.
Tom is right, yellow and red make orange, not pink.
Sometimes the yellow in the cake is because the whole egg is used in the mix. read the instructions. If you have to use the whole egg, skip that and use the white alone and that will help lighten the yellow look of the cake but still, even light yellow and red….light orange.
