Has anyone tried the vogue skirt pattern v8296?
It is skirt B, the instructions say to lap the first piece over the second one 3/8″, and then stitch at 3/8″, but how can that be possible? If you try to sew that(which I have) the seam will go off the edge. Maybe it’ a typo? like it should be lap over 5/8″ THEN sew 3/8″

Offhand, I’d agree that it sounds like a typo, but I don’t have the pattern to check it for you.
Can you draw in the alleged seam lines on the original paper pattern and then walk them? That will tell you if the 3/8″ is off.
