Making And Using A Green Quilt
If you’re getting into quilt making, then possibilities are you are still curious about the aesthetics, design and decor in relation to duvets. Designing with Green

With cool colours like blue, it can often help you to relax and unwind. With more regal and bombast colors like purple and gold, it can look extremely good, but it may be a little loud to sleep under. Still, it boils down to your own personal tastes.
As for the designs and patterns that go well with green, you might need to contrast the feeling of your color scheme. So if you’ve got a truly wild color scheme like green and red, you would wish to go with easier designs, while green and earthy browns, you could get away with more zig zags and such like. Again, though, it really comes down to what you need to do.
Matching the Decor
When organizing decor, it’s a good idea to choose a theme. Your theme may be anything from the sea, to the beach, to a hamburger. Anything with an identifiable and usable color range could be a visible identity you can use for inspiration. So a green and blue quilt might serve as the sea in a room with sand colored walls and coral curtains.
If you’d like to make an all green quilt, that will work too, but it relies on the decoration of the room. Just be absolutely sure that you’re sewing this duvet for a room where all green won't look out of whack.
Naturally, when it comes down to it, you can always depend on your instincts. The person you are generally making an attempt to make happy with your decor is yourself! So do not fret so much about the “rules” of decor and aesthetics, just follow them as a general guideline and use them to point you to a look that you like. Once you’re comfortable enough, you can forget the guidelines altogether and just go for what you want to do and find a look you like.
That’s's all that matters in the long run. If you love it, go with it, if not, do not. Use your own sense of style, use your own tastes and preferences and get a look that you are satisfied with.
