Why there are a lot of natural diseasters in the USA?
I was watching the news today and I really felt bad for the people in California, but what’s going on?
There’s two things to remember about the US. First, we’re a very big country. If you picked up The United States and place San Francisco where London is and let the rest of the country fall across Europe, New York City would land in Istanbul. That’s a lot of real estate. Second, we have excellent news coverage and a free press. Anything that happens is reported. That doesn’t happen in other large countries like Russia and China. It may seem like we have more bad things happen to us than other countries, but it’s only that you hear about all of them.
