Does anyone know the natural flavors in different kinds of food?
Just to warn you this could get gross 
For example, my friend told me that there is solid bat “waste” (yes, it’s what you think I mean) in Doritos. Is that true? and does anyone know any other facts like that?
These aren’t all associated with just flavors, but here are some interesting food facts:
- A certain type of beetle is ground up to get the red coloring in artificially red-colored foods like some candies.
- Worcestershire sauce is made up of dissolved anchovies.
- Some soft drinks contain the same ingredient as antifreeze (propylene glycol).
- The most expensive coffee in the world (Kopi Luwak) comes from beans digested and expelled in the poop of a feral cat called the civet.
- FDA guidelines allow manufacturers to include up to a certain number of insect parts and rodent hairs in many foods, such as peanut butter.
- Dynamite can be made out of peanut oil.
- Mascara used to be made with bat guano (as in your original post); I’m not sure if this is still a natural process or if it’s now synthesized.
