YUCK! I won’t let my cat eat mice, because they usually bring them in and play with them for a few days! I keep telling her, “Please don’t play with your food!” But she never listens.
Mickey is a perfectly great name for a cat. You can even put fake mouse ears on him to fool them meeces. “I love them meeces to pieces!”
But you might want to also consider “Sylvester” as a name, if your cat does a lousy job catching them meeces.
