Where can I find a 100% green bamboo tee shirt manufacturer?
I’ve spent a week searching the web and I can’t seem to find a bamboo tee shirt manufacturer that doesn’t use harsh chemicals in the early phase of the manufacturing process.
I know they exist, however, because I was just reading about a clothing company whose manufacturer uses a mechanical process rather than chemical. This made the process “green from start to finish.”
Most places that turn bamboo into fabric use either the “regenerated cellulose process” or the “solvent spinning process,” both of which use harsh chemicals that are harmful to the people handling them.
I’m seeking to start a green clothing line that can help make the world a better place, so I obviously don’t want my manufacturer to use such processes.
If you do not end up finding one, consider one made of hemp.
