Matted fur – it happens to most dogs or cats occasionally. Of course, this can just make matters worse. So, what causes matts and how do you treat matted fur? Fleas can also cause matting. They can create a tangled mess in your pets fur. This is a natural process and it is important to brush out the undercoat when your pet is shedding.
This means, to be aware of the needs of a pet-dog as opposed to a robotic relationship with a toy one and work to build a bond between self and the dog so as to have a happy, hassle-free four-legged companion in fair and foul weather, Monday blues notwithstanding. For, dogs are the most forgiving of companions a man can hope to have, and the advantages of owning a silky terrier pet dog are many! Matting is not only unattractive, but it’s uncomfortable for your dog as well. Regular grooming will help maintain a shiny, healthy coat and enhance your Golden Retriever’s quality of life.
