How do I attach an applique to a leg on a pair of children’s Jeans or overalls.?
I will be using my sewing machine and want to do satin stitch on the edges but not sure what needles to use, thread, fusible stuff to attach, or How to accommodate the thickness of the jeans. I see very cute designs for over 100.00 for a child! I can figure out how to design the applique and to pick the fabrics but stumped on how to attach it so it can be washed and dried as kids get dirty. thanks for anyone who knows how. I am just playing around with a piece from the thrift store to practice on.
I would just hand sew it on. I use waxed dental floss and a large needle. I used to make entire patchwork jeans when I was a kid. Take tiny stitches.
