Should my rotary trimmer cut all the way through?
I recently purchased a used Fiskars 12inch desktop rotary trimmer. Sometimes it cuts through but 99 percent of the time it doesn’t. I push down on it and it still won’t. The only way is if I put my whole body strength on it then it will finally cut through and that’s with only one piece of paper. So am I wrong in thinking that it should cut through?
I already replaced the blade and then tried another blade. I replace the cutting strip as well.

it should cut through easily, if you already tried a new blade I would check to see if there is anything stopping the blade from lowering all the way. It would be easier to help if I knew exactly which trimmer you have.
