What techniques could I use for my project?
I’ve only just started a textile art project and I need some easy/medium (in difficulty) techniques that I could use.
I’ve already used:
free embroidery
relief printing
applique
batik
patchwork
felting
quilting
and knitting
I need something that would work to create a piece inspired by this picture: http://www.flickr.com/photos/duncanh1/4216435066/
but if it doesn’t its fine, I could always use the technique on something eles!

Go 3-d: sew the fungi so they stick out from the background, more of a sculpture than a painting.
