How do I get my 800m time down under 2:00 from 2:04?
Okay tomorrow is like my last chance to make it to the District level for the 800m. My best time right now is 2:04 and I need to get under 2:00 for Districts. Does anyone have any tips for me on how to lose 4 seconds or atleast have a good shot at it?
at this point there is no training techniques you can do. however you can be very strategic while your running. get off to a fast start and draft off of someone slightly faster than yourself until it is time to make your “kick” at the end of the race. once you are ready to make your move you are no longer an 800 runner but a sprinter. drive hard as hard as you can to the finish line.
remember you are not racing against your competitor but to achieve your best time. also stay hydrated.

Undertow $10.96 Arguably their finest album, this follow-up to Opiate showcases Tool at their best, assisted by clean, crisp production, without the muddiness of Aenima. Edgy guitar riffs are complemented by spitting, heavy bass, especially on “Sober” and “Crawl Away”. Lyrically, Tool are at their vitriolic best, targeting religious hypocrisy (“Intolerance,” “Sober”; always a popular theme), the loss of innocence… |

Even with a running time of 74 minutes, this 1991 breakthrough has continuity and cohesion both within and across the 17 cuts. Riding Flea’s surging bass, Anthony Kiedis delivers his explicit lyrics with a rapper’s flair, extolling the virtues (and outlining the dangers) of sex and … |
